Well, first off let me say that I loved our Eve of Christmas Eve experience! WOW. Tons of people and just an awesome time celebrating the birth of Jesus!! Thank you to all who helped. Special thanks to the worship team for all the time you gave towards this. You all are awesome!

This is the time of year that we make New Years Resolutions. Some of them can be reached and some are things that we say every year. I was thinking about this myself and I want to challenge you to come up with a list. But,,,,,come up with a list that is really real! Write it down and keep it some where you can look at it. Now I don't have things like I want to weigh 170lbs and be ripped! Its more like, I want to be a better father to my children. (lead them like I should and encourage them more). Now I wont give you my list but you can get my point. You may even pray about it. See what it is that God is wanting for you this year. Don't be afraid to dream big. Take a few minutes and think about. I enjoyed it!!

The message yesterday was such a real life message. If you missed it you must go online and check it out. You will not regret it. Robert Morris spoke again and gave testimonies of what God has done. I was just blown away by them. If you haven't read his book The Blessed Life then I would also highly recommend that too!
Patrick challenge us yesterday to really step up and give. Not just our 10% but beyond that. Really that's what the message was about too. Are you ready to see what God is going to do with Life Church? Are you willing to invest in the Kingdom? This is a great opportunity to do that. We(Life Church) are here to stay. As leadership and staff we put our whole life into this. We are constantly thinking about things, praying,planning and seeking what God want us to do. Our heart is to see lives changed, to raise up fully devoted followers of Christ! It is awesome to see people come along and join us on this journey. Are you ready to jump all in? We have a place for you!

Last night we had our BIG SHOW for our volunteers. If you don't volunteer then you #1 you missed out on an awesome party and #2 you probably have no idea what the Big show even was till I explained it. We had the honor of blessing, thanking and honoring those who serve at Life Church. Food,games,prizes and just an awesome time of hanging out. THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO SERVE. You all make it happen week after week. God is doing amazing things and YOU are the connecter to the current of the power of Christ.
We have over 100 volunteers(stinkin amazing) that do things that are seen and unseen. There are people that are helping set up at 6:30am( while your sleeping) people teaching your children and there are the smiling faces you see when you arrive and not to mention the countless other places people are volunteering! This isn't a plea to get you to volunteer but your missing out if you don't. There is so much more that just showing up and leaving. Its about getting plugged in, its about being a part of something bigger that yourself!
To those who faithfully serve, YOU ROCK and Thank you! Thank you for making it happen every week! It would be impossible to do it with out you!

So this week concluded our series Masquerade and it was really and awesome series. Very thought provoking don't you think? We have gotten to talk to so many people that are taking their masks off. Dude!! That is sweet! We have had some amazing discussions in our Life Groups and just our daily conversations from them too! We are in the Christmas season and its a great time of year to invite someone to church. Don't forget we will also be having our Eve of Christmas Eve experience on Thursday Dec 23rd. You can pick up some invite cards at church on Sunday to hand out!! It is going to be an amazing night! Invite everyone you know.


God is doing some amazing things around here and I know its only going to get bigger! Lets continue to be ready and willing to do whatever it takes. To do things that no one else is doing to reach people that no one else is reaching!

Man! I am really just overwhelmed (in a good way) about all that is going on. Yesterday was such an awesome time of worship. It is such a blessing to see you all worshiping and letting go of everything and pouring your heart out. Isn't it awesome to know that God hears us? That He loves to hear his children singing? Man...how stinking cool is that? The fact that He came and rescued us in our lowest of lows is humbling. When we are in that place we usually aren't too lovable (maybe you were) but that fact is Jesus came to you and I in that place, the place of complete desperation and disgust and took you and me in. Accepted us, made us new and clean and made us righteous!! Booyah, how about that? On that, there is one thing we need to remember. Our Laundry is clean! God put everything in the wash. IT came out CLEAN. YOU have been made CLEAN! We have a hard time forgiving ourselves, we think that theres still some stains showing on those clothes that God washed but theres not. We have been forgiven so we need to forgive ourself too. When we keep reminding ourselves of our past or thinking we haven't really been forgiven its as if we don't think that Jesus dying on the cross for us was really good enough. SAY WHAT?.....Exactly that. If you have surrendered you life to Jesus, your laundry has been washed...and don't forget that!

Life Church, lets keep it up. Lets continue to reach out to the community, to our neighbors, to the broken and everyone we come in contact with.

Dont forget to invite everyone you know to our Eve of Christmas Eve experience. IT WILL BE AMAZING!! This is an excellent opportunity to invite your coworkers/family/whoever to come and worship with us!! They will love it!

Super Busy...

It has been extremely crazy around here. We have been moving offices which is crazy but so nice. I actually have my own office. Pretty wild. Thank you to all who have come and helped. You guys rock. Last week my Grandad passed away which was pretty hard because we have always been really close. It was and honor to be able to share at his memorial service to honor a man that I love so much!
You guys we have so much going on and I am super excited and I know you are too. I say that to say to remember your priorities. Usually the first thing to go out the door because of time is God. Lets not let that happen. Lets do what we have to do to keep God first!

This series has been a real eye opener for so many and I want to encourage you to invite someone. I have been so blessed by what Craig has been sharing and I hope you have too. I know that God has big plans for Life Church and I love being apart of them. Lets continue to be the church!!

Yesterday was the first of our series Masquerade and I hope you all liked it as much as I did. It was really a real message that we all need to hear. How true it is that we hide ourselves behind different masks to fake not only others out but ourselves? For some crazy reason we even think that we can fake God out. Its time to be real. I mean FOR REAL, like be honest, stop hiding BE REAL. And on that note I'm going to be. I really feel that I am but after meeting with some good friends this weekend and we were able to be real with each other it encouraged me EVEN MORE(THANKS GUYS!).
Sunday morning I didn't want to be there. I was up at 5:45am, I didn't feel good and it was just one of those days. OOHHH I said it, I wasn't in the mood. But, You know what? I had to have a sit down/pow wow with just me and Jesus for a few minutes and it was great. We had already set things up, it was almost time for the experience to start and I knew something had to change about my attitude. I just took a few minutes just to talk and to listen. I just needed to quiet myself before the Lord. We need to be real with our self and Jesus. Sometimes we need a sit down/pow wow of our own. We need to be quiet and to listen. I had to say out loud, Its not about me Jesus, Its about YOU! I really said that out loud too. After it was all done to see and hear about the Life Change that happened yesterrday was amazing. People giving their hearts to Jesus and people coming to get prayer about the masks they have been putting up made for and awesome day. The point of all this... Its not about me, its not about you, its all about Jesus. Lets remember that. If your in ministry( if you say your a christian your in ministry) and your not in the mood, its not about you. Lets take down the masks and get real.

Yesterday concluded our series on Planted and it was an extremely great message by Pastor Judah Smith. If you haven't had the chance to watch it you need to get online and check it out. In the meantime? That is what we were learning about, that we are not where we were but were not where we are supposed to be. The Meantime! I talked a little about how we in that time of in between we really need to be planted. We need to take that time to go after God even more. I heard it said that if your not moving forward that you are going backwards. We may feel like were stuck but we must press on.
I also shared about the trees roots and how it grows. Did you know that the roots grow up to 3x bigger than the branch spread?
Or that when one side of he roots get injured the branches and leaves on that side will die or wilt? We have to planted in good soil. Our roots are what hold us in the ground and feed us(Also a tree)!
If you feel like your in the meantime don't give up. Keep moving forward. Press on!
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up! Galatians 6:9

So we have been getting our new offices ready and I have to say that they are looking awesome. Special thanks and shout out to those who have been there working like crazy. I know we are all excited about getting to move there. We are going to be on Main St above Wachovia. It is going to give us so much room and allow us places for meeting and LifeGroups and things like that! Come by and check things out or just to say hello! This Sunday is going to be great so you wont want to miss out. The music is going to be different too so come and join us. 10am at the Smoky Mtn Center for The Performing Arts!

Yesterday was such an awesome end to the series I Believe In You! Dr. Chand did such a great job. I really feel that this has been such an important series for all of us. How good do you feel when someone says that they believe in you? You feel awesome! It makes you feel like what you are doing has value! If you have missed any of them go back to the website lifechurchfrankln.com and check them out! These are a must see!! Did you tell 2 people that you believe in them? If so, how did that go?

I wanted to say a special thank you to the worship and tech team. This group of men and women are there setting up before most of you are even awake on Sunday. I appreciate the time that they put into it every week. You and I are blessed to have them here! Really, we have so many volunteers that are serving in so many areas and it is such an honor to serve with you. You all have a part in what God is doing at Life Church and here in Franklin. Lets keep dreaming big for our church. Lets keep praying for our leaders and expecting to see things happen! We are just scratching the surface here at Life Church. We are going to continue to see lives changed, we are going to continue to see growth that we really cant explain and keep dreaming BIG!. Let us not be satisfied with where we are at. We know that God has more for us so lets continue to pursue that! You all are awesome!

Yesterday was such a great message. Craig was again laying it out about being a Paul and a Timothy. How about you? Are you mentoring someone? Are you being mentored by someone? Its time to start!
Have you been hurt? Have you overcome something or felt like you went through it? Well, If you answered yes to any of those than you would be great at mentoring someone. How do we gain wisdom from things but through experience? There are things in my life that I have gone through and have done that at the time was either very difficult or even damaging that I wish never happened. But, I overcame, I made it through! Now I can use those experiences to share with others in similar situations or heading down a direction that they don't need to be going and tell them my story! People need to know that they aren't the only ones who have ever struggled with addictions or with family problems or self esteem etc.. If you have overcome those things you need to share it. People are desperate to hear YOUR story. They want to know YOU made it through!

So I leave you with that! SHARE IT! Share what God has done in you.
Share what you have gone through and have overcome!

WOW! Yesterday was stinking awesome! Craig's message was very challenging for me as a parent. As parents, we're called to unleash single-minded, Christ-centered, biblically anchored, world changers. It is my desire as a father to see my children become people of integrity. Willing to go after God with all that they are. As a father there is so much riding on how I interact with my kids. They need to know that I believe in them. I don't want them to ever think other wise! Dads, do you communicate that with your children? Do they know you believe in them by your actions towards them? Do you realize how much you impact them whether good or bad? We cant say its too late. There is always time to change!
Men... I believe in you. You can do it! Start today!!

Craig was rippin it up Sunday with the new series I believe in you! It is such a privilege for us at Life Church to be able to hear from him each week!
I know that you guys don't have the same view I have from the stage but there are so many new faces. Our growth is crazy. Patrick was sharing Sunday how it started with 9 families and I was looking out and seeing around 400 people and it was crazy to imagine that and look back. God is doing some amazing things here and we are excited to be apart of it.
Continue to invite people each week! Know that you can bring them to a safe place with a dangerous message!! Lifers keep it up! Spread the message, share what God is doing in your life and in out church. Keep on keeping on!

what is worship?

There are all kinds of worship, worship that involves speaking, worship that involves listening, and a worship that involves doing, to me worship is to love unquestioningly and uncritically and have a true surrender of yourself to humbly know that you are not in charge and are asking God to take control and let his plan live throughout your life. Music is just one way we can express our worship to God, to think that you can sing to the creator of the universe, to the maker of everything is amazing and so many times i think we take it for granite that at any time and anywhere we can just stop and simply talk to God, to thank him to sing praises to him. To stand face to face to God in complete awe, i think THAT is true worship. This week don't take for granite that God is not this big process and plan but that he is a relationship, and savior and a father. Take worship to another level and LIVE out worship in everything you do.

Man! Yesterday was pretty stinking amazing! Worship was just an awesome time. It was just a great time of us coming together and singing in one voice. I love seeing you all going after God in worship. I am believing it for everyday but I really want us to come together on Sundays believing that it will be a day that will make its mark in History. Lives are being changed, transformed and totally wrecked! We are a part of something that is way bigger than ourselves. When lives are changed we are making a difference for the Kingdom. Those few words from Matthew 6 is something we should be praying for not only Life Church but for our City. "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done." If we as followers of Christ can come together asking and believing for His Kingdom to come, for His will to be done there is no telling what could happen. We will become unstoppable!
What kind of mark are you leaving? What kind of legacy are going to leave behind to your children or to the people that know you? I want to be know for bringing His kingdom. For having an unstoppable vision to see lives changed!!
Be the CHURCH. Words can be EMPTY and CHEAP when thats all they are. Put actions behind your lips! Have Love, Show Love, Be Love. Bring the Kingdom!

We had such a good time yesterday with the LifeKIDS leading us in worship. The picked out the songs and sang away! So we are going to have different people from the worship team add to the worship blog. This week is Ben Walker (Drummer)!

Hey,
I'm Ben. I play drums and do other cool stuff too that you don't know about yet. It was way cool to observe all the kids worshiping God this morning. Opportunity leads to growth if we take that opportunity. And I know that they will grow from such an opportunity to stand before a bunch of people and sing to God. Some realize they don't like to be in front of a crowd. Others eat it up. But what matters is that they know who they are singing to and for (God). Kids are often told "sing good and sing loud so your mommy's and daddy's can hear you". I believe that God wants to hear us sing too. Not just worship in the form playing music and singing on stage...but worship in ANY form that brings glory to Him. He has done so much in my life, that I can't help but want to give Him the credit and props for everything. I try to do that through my attitude, my jobs, my relationships...and so on. Unfortunately I don't always, but I do strive to. I pray my actions and my life "sings good and loud" to my God, because He deserves my best.

Matthew 18: 1-4
1At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"
2He called a little child and had him stand among them. 3And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

I'm curious to see what kind of kid you were. Think back to a time you were on stage singing or performing a horrible kindergarten play. Were you loud and proud? Or were you holding back tears looking for the closest exit? I DO want to know.

TOXIC

This series has been such a good one and I cant wait for more. Each one has been something that we can all apply to our lives. I have really been able to look at my life and see where there have been areas where I have let a little poison or poop in. It can be a wake up call to all of us. There are standards that we have set in our lives that maybe aren't as high as they used to be because we feel more "mature" in our faith. I know people that say that and I say that is a load of poop too! Bad company corrupts good character(1 Corinthians 15:33). It doesn't say the opposite! We use that line as an excuse that we are strong enough to handle things. We are called to live higher standards. We are called do be different. What sets you apart? What makes you different from your non christian friends or co-workers? Is there a difference? Are we really being examples to a dark world or has our lights become dim themselves? Let us be different. Let us be genuine! Life Church, lets be a group of people that is known by what we are for not what we are against! Lets be a body that pierces the darkness!

I just wanted to take a second and say how excited I am. God is doing some amazing things here at Life Church and im stoked to be apart of it!! I hope you are too!
I want to give a shout out to all the worship and tech team that we have that faithfully serve. There are more people than just the ones on stage that you see. We have people running lights, sound and computers. These guys are what make it all happen. These guys are at the theater at 7 am. Most of you arent even up yet and they are helping set up and get things ready for the experience! When you see one of these guys/girls say thanks. If you love the music then let them know. They need to hear it from you. Not just me.(Don't complain to them) We are apart of a team and we need to encourage each other. So to my team I say THANKS! You all Rock. The hours of service you put in is amazing and I am extremely grateful.

Yesterday was such an awesome experience! Where are you all coming from? The message was a needed slap in the face! If you haven't seen it yet go to lifechurchfranklin.com to see it or the others you have missed. That phrase that Craig said has really stuck with me. A little poop(or poison for those who don't like that word)goes a long way. How true is that? We allow certain things to creep in because its nor really "that bad". His story about the mom making the brownies was so true. Talk about putting it into perspective!
I love how the Message puts Proverbs 25:26... A good person who gives in to a bad person is a muddied spring, a polluted well. We aren't supposed to be both. We are to be fresh water!! We become like the people we surround ourselves with. What does your "inner circle" look like? Where are the hearts of the people that you spend time with? When you get together does it bring out the best in you or the worst? These are things that we have to look at in our own life and decide what is going to be best for us? If you thirsty are going to want to drink out of a dirty stream or a water bottle that the water is brown? NO Way! You want fresh water, clean and sparkling. What are you? What are we?
Worship was rocking Sunday. What a time for us to come together and go after God! Keep pressing in Lifers!!! Expect the unexpected!

This Sunday was awesome. Where are all you people coming from? Has anyone else noticed the growth that we are having? How awesome is that. More and more people are coming and plugging in. We are now at 10 Life Groups and in the process of 3 more!! Seriously, this is awesome. We are apart of something big here! YOU are a part of something bigger than yourself. Lets go for it! Im talking everyday. Every breath that we have lets go for it. When we come together on Sunday its a time where we can go all out in a corporate setting. Encouraging one another and going after God as one!!! How sweet is that! Come this Sunday ready to go after God. Come prepared to let go and just worship! I am honored to serve with you all!!

Seriously, I love this church! Its exciting to see what I get to be apart of. To see this move of God here in our small town of Franklin is insane! We finished up the At The Movies series and I have to say that I really enjoyed them. A very different approach to a sunday experience but it was great. TOXIC is coming up this week so you wont want to miss it.
Worship yesterday was great. Lifers, you all are really getting into worship. It is stinking awesome to look out and see you all engaging in worship. Hands raised all across the auditorium and hearts in one voice singing out. I LOVE IT!
I will have to say that it is a privilege to play with the team we have at Life Church. You don't realize what you have until you go somewhere else. Thanks guys! I am expecting great things for this church. I set high standards for our team to follow. Are you setting high standards in your life? Are you giving God your best or what's left over? Set standards of excellence in everything you do. Integrity matters! Lets be a church that is known for its excellence. Lets do what we do to the best of our abilities. Yesterday we started our At the Movie series and it was about Johnny Cash! Seriously, that was one awesome message. To see his life and all the hurt he had put so many of his songs in a different light. How many of us carry the hurt for years and years? Its time to let it go, its time to say goodbye to those things that you have hung on to that need to be given to God! What do you need to let go of?
We went acoustic yesterday and it was a lot of fun. I am very encouraged to see you guys go after God the way you are in worship. There is power in corporate worship!! Keep it up. Let it all out, sing out what's on your heart! It was a blast singing Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire! I think a lot of you guys liked it too!!

Sunday was a day that Life Church will never forget! Our first ever Church In The Park was awesome! You guys came pumped up ready to worship and eat! I would have to say that was one of our craziest times of worship. Not only before but after! I loved having the kids there showing some of the adults what its all about! The beach balls added a little flavor that most of us haven't seen either. The goal of Sunday wasn't just about having fun but about proclaiming the name of Jesus! Thats exactly what we did. I cant believe we had over 300 something people there. WOW! To see all our planning and ideas come together for that day was great. We really had no idea what were getting into. A special thanks to all of you who volunteered and helped out that day. We could not have done it without you.
Patrick did a great job sharing about unstoppable vision. Here at Life Church we are committed to doing things no one else will do to reach those no one else is reaching. This is a big part of how we pray, plan and prepare for every experience and even for months ahead. Our wheels never stop turning. Our desire to see lives changed and hearts turned to Jesus drives us. We are committed to lead by example. It wont just be words spoken but there will be action behind it! It was awesome to get to hear Pastor Steven Furtick from Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC. You are the Unstoppable current of the Power of Christ! How cool is that. That is a reality that we need to walk in and realize. When we are walking in that power you are UNSTOPPABLE. It doesn't mean that something wont be hard or you will have a perfect life but it does mean that you have the Ultimate trump card. It doesn't mean you only pull out the unstoppable power trump card when its tough but we need to live in it! We need to walk in it. Day in and Day out. The same power that rose Christ from the grave lives in you! Booyah!! what do you think about that?



Are you ready for CHURCH IN THE PARK on July 4th? It is going to be sweet! Our regular worship experience will begin at 10am then it will be followed by food and fun! Invite someone to come and bring a blanket or chair. If you have a tent you want to bring that's good too! This is a great opportunity to invite someone that wouldn't normally come to church!

Fathers day was sooo cool. To see those dads play minute to win it was pretty stinking funny. If you weren't there then you definitely missed it.
I wanted to share something that really struck me about Fathers day. I was with my Grandparents and we were talking about Fathers day and my Grandmother began to cry about her Dad. Not Just a tear but really cry. Not to give away her age but she was 11 when we passed away and that was 76 years ago. Let me say that again, 76 years ago and she is still effected by it. Dads, do you realize how much of an impact you make on your children. Our Fathers made an impression on us whether good or bad we know they did. If you were raised by Godly Father who helped form you and make you into the man you are today continue that legacy with your children. Maybe your father wasn't there or when he was it was bad. Learn from his mistakes. You know what not to do because of what he did. We cant blame our problems on our parents but the hurts or greatest moments will effect you forever. What legacy are you leaving with your children. The I come home and sit on the couch till bedtime and don't have time for you kind of dad. Maybe the lets go play out side, let me read you bed time stories and kiss your boo boos kind of dad. You remember what it was like growing up so our children will too! Lets be the Fathers our children need. Forget what your dad did or didn't do and be the DAD YOUR KIDS NEED. If you don't know what they need start by spending some time with them and go from there. We want to stand in front of our heavenly Father and hear well done my good and faithful servant but I want to hear my children say well done Dad, you shaped me into the man or woman I am today, because of you I am a better person. Whats it gonna be Dads? BE IT!

Its getting crazy round here!

DUDE! I am so pumped up about everything going on. We have been doing some insane planning for Fathers day and for July 4th. Our office is a hub of creativity! We have some things planned for Fathers day that are going to be great! Fathers are going to want to be there! Make sure you tell all the Fathers you know about this Sunday! Also make plans to be at CHURCH IN THE PARK ON JULY 4TH!!! We are going to have our regular worship experience followed by a cookout and games. Bring your blanket or chair, wear your shorts and flip flops cause its gonna be warm but its gonna be FUN!!
It is hard for us to keep up with ourselves with all our ideas. God is blowing up in peoples lives at LCF! Way cool. Hearts are being changed, lives are being lived for Jesus instead of themselves and people are committing their life to JESUS! Thats were its at guys, what are we producing? What do we have to show for our work? Be the church, not just with words but with action....

Yesterday was such an awesome time( I thought so!) of worship. Lifers are getting more and more excited about being apart of whats going on. Its a privilege and honor to be apart of a leadership team like this one. I hope that you are finding your fit too!

We started the One Prayer series with over 1000 other churches all across the world. How sweet is that?
Craig said that the path to your greatest potential is often straight through your greatest fear! That is so true. What Lion do you need to attack? What fear is in front of you that you know you need to go through?
Lets continue to do life together. Not just Life Groups but meals and hanging out. Life Groups are an excellent way to get plugged in and do life together. Wow! Sunday was stinking amazing. It was just a really awesome time of worship and the message on gratitude just rocked my world! I am so blessed to be apart of what is going on here at Life Church Franklin. To see people become more and more excited about God and what He is doing is so cool. I am very grateful to work with an amazing worship team. I am very grateful to be able to work alongside Patrick. When we stop and look at where we are and what we have and what God has done in our lives it is amazing. I never imagined I would be doing what I am doing. I am grateful and blessed!
Continue to seek after God with all you have. Worship Him in all you do! While your working or driving or changing a poopy diaper you can worship. It doesnt have to be out loud or a song or a verse just communicate with your heart! If you never talk to your husband or wife but once a week for maybe an hour what kind of relationship would that be? Would it last? Would you really feel committed to them or that they were really committed to you? Isnt that what we do to God? Maybe im the only one who gets "busy" with life and puts God on a shelf instead of something that really needs to be!

Are you in a Life Group? Do you volunteer? Have you been coming for months and never volunteered for anything or never considered joining a Life Group? Are you a consumer? Do you come just for yourself? Are you coming just to meet your God quota or are you really wanting to live it out? This may sound harsh to some people but it will only be harsh to those who dont do anything. I want you to be connected, I want you to be plugged in. We have a place for you! Hey Everyone,
Yesterday was such an awesome time of worship and an excellent message about Loyalty! We mixed it up with going acoustic and I might say that I really loved it! We are blessed to have an amazing worship team. I think so many times we take for granted the talent but I don't. I am very thankful every week to be apart of it. I am also very grateful to be apart of this church! God is doing stinking awesome things and I am stoked!!! I said yesterday that many of us need a but moment... a but GOD moment! There are times were we think it is all crashing down or coming to an end and we think there is no hope....but GOD is ready, but GOD is there, but GOD sees you in your need and is excited that you finally are figuring out that you cant do it on your own! This week let go and give it to God. Look at your situation and know that He knows what is going on. You are not alone!!
Craig's message on loyalty was just awesome. True Loyalty is Proven not Proclaimed. How can we "prove" our loyalty to God? Our Church? Our Family? Its something to think about. Go this week knowing that you can make a difference. Go knowing that your life is an example of the God of the universe!! Go and love people, Gods sons and daughters!

Sunday was such an awesome day at Life Church!! God was moving in that place. It is so amazing to see people becoming more free in worship. Letting go and just going after God. You guys are really getting wild! That's what im talking about. It gets better every week.

For those of you who weren't there on Sunday we moved our location to the FHS Fine Arts Center for the day because of a concert at the theater. I first want to say thank you to all the guys who helped set up and tear down. We had a lot more to do to prepare and we needed all the help we could get. So a BIG THANK YOU!! I also want to tell you how awesome it is to play with the group of extremely talented musicians and singers. They are such a vital role to Life Church and we need to appreciate them and their hard work. The worship team is the first ones there at 7am and some of the last ones to leave. So again, thanks!
We really hit some hard subjects Sunday. Subjects that aren't ever talked about. Homosexuality, masturbation, gambling, drinking, horoscopes, living together outside of marriage and many other things through out the past 3 weeks. Most people don't even talk about these things at home much less at church. We are blessed to have Craig stand up for what the bible says and not be afraid of it. There was nothing watered down. It was the real deal!
We are continuing to grow at LCF!! New people are coming all the time. Have you found a Life Group yet? Are you even looking for one? We are starting 4 new ones in May! There will be one for Adults, 7th to 12th graders, college/young professionals age and a Life at Lunch meeting in town. Check them out. Talk to some one at the Guest Services table in the front lobby on Sunday! You don't want to miss out. They are what we are about. DON'T GO SOLO IN 2010!!
We are blessed with a huge facility with lots of room so......Invite someone to church. Most people will not turn you down so why not? What are you waiting for?

So yesterday was a laid back acoustic feel for worship but it was Powerfull. If that was your first time hearing God who Answers prayer then you had to get rocked! Andrew and Kimberly did such an awesome job on it. Man it was good!!! I am really enjoying this series FAQ. We are tackling issues that churches and people just dont want to talk about. It is time that we be speakers of truth! This is such a good series to invite people to.If you thought this week was wild then wait till next week. Dont forget we will be at the FHS Fine Arts Center. So what did you think about singing outside? A little different eh? It was such a beautiful day and it was really cool to see all of you outside singing away. I wanted to encourage you all that as we grow (and we are) to step out of your comfort zone and talk to people. Take someone new out to lunch or invite them over for a meal. The bigger we get the harder it is to get to know people. That is up to you to talk to people. Patrick or myself cant talk to every single person on Sunday. We need your help. Be friendly!!! We can all remember a time were we showed up somewhere, especially a church service where no one said hello. Didnt you just want to go back and visit? No way! Lets not be that kind of church or kind of people. So try something new.....Talk to people. Some of you have no problem but some.... you know who you are! So be encouraged that I am encouraging you!

Sunday was such an awesome day! Seeing those people baptized tore me up. It is such an honor and privilege to be apart of that like changing experience. There were so many people there too. I looked out and couldn't believe it. And on time too!! I want to encourage you to continue to invite people to church. I dream big and I see us filling that place up. Not just one service but two! That is going to happen when you step out and invite people. God is doing amazing things here at Life Church and I am excited to see what is going to happen and be apart of it. Step out of your comfort zone and talk to people, invite people or better yet share what God has done in your life!! Now it the time, this is the day that the Lord has made. Rejoice and be glad in it.

Hey Life Church,
I wanted to encourage all of you during this time that we are fasting together to also spend time in worship. You dont have to be able to play the guitar and sing or even put on a cd. Just express what is in your heart! Your gratitude, your joy, your excitement for the coming year and yes even your struggles! You can make it a song by actually singing it out. It may seem crazy at first but im sure David may of thought it was crazy too but look at the book of Psalms. 150 chapters of "songs" being poured out of the hearts of people desperate for God to move in their life and even to save them form their enemy.( real enemies too, with swords!) So dont just limit your time to prayer, worship can be prayer too.
