So this week concluded our series Masquerade and it was really and awesome series. Very thought provoking don't you think? We have gotten to talk to so many people that are taking their masks off. Dude!! That is sweet! We have had some amazing discussions in our Life Groups and just our daily conversations from them too! We are in the Christmas season and its a great time of year to invite someone to church. Don't forget we will also be having our Eve of Christmas Eve experience on Thursday Dec 23rd. You can pick up some invite cards at church on Sunday to hand out!! It is going to be an amazing night! Invite everyone you know.


God is doing some amazing things around here and I know its only going to get bigger! Lets continue to be ready and willing to do whatever it takes. To do things that no one else is doing to reach people that no one else is reaching!

Man! I am really just overwhelmed (in a good way) about all that is going on. Yesterday was such an awesome time of worship. It is such a blessing to see you all worshiping and letting go of everything and pouring your heart out. Isn't it awesome to know that God hears us? That He loves to hear his children singing? Man...how stinking cool is that? The fact that He came and rescued us in our lowest of lows is humbling. When we are in that place we usually aren't too lovable (maybe you were) but that fact is Jesus came to you and I in that place, the place of complete desperation and disgust and took you and me in. Accepted us, made us new and clean and made us righteous!! Booyah, how about that? On that, there is one thing we need to remember. Our Laundry is clean! God put everything in the wash. IT came out CLEAN. YOU have been made CLEAN! We have a hard time forgiving ourselves, we think that theres still some stains showing on those clothes that God washed but theres not. We have been forgiven so we need to forgive ourself too. When we keep reminding ourselves of our past or thinking we haven't really been forgiven its as if we don't think that Jesus dying on the cross for us was really good enough. SAY WHAT?.....Exactly that. If you have surrendered you life to Jesus, your laundry has been washed...and don't forget that!

Life Church, lets keep it up. Lets continue to reach out to the community, to our neighbors, to the broken and everyone we come in contact with.

Dont forget to invite everyone you know to our Eve of Christmas Eve experience. IT WILL BE AMAZING!! This is an excellent opportunity to invite your coworkers/family/whoever to come and worship with us!! They will love it!

Super Busy...

It has been extremely crazy around here. We have been moving offices which is crazy but so nice. I actually have my own office. Pretty wild. Thank you to all who have come and helped. You guys rock. Last week my Grandad passed away which was pretty hard because we have always been really close. It was and honor to be able to share at his memorial service to honor a man that I love so much!
You guys we have so much going on and I am super excited and I know you are too. I say that to say to remember your priorities. Usually the first thing to go out the door because of time is God. Lets not let that happen. Lets do what we have to do to keep God first!

This series has been a real eye opener for so many and I want to encourage you to invite someone. I have been so blessed by what Craig has been sharing and I hope you have too. I know that God has big plans for Life Church and I love being apart of them. Lets continue to be the church!!

Yesterday was the first of our series Masquerade and I hope you all liked it as much as I did. It was really a real message that we all need to hear. How true it is that we hide ourselves behind different masks to fake not only others out but ourselves? For some crazy reason we even think that we can fake God out. Its time to be real. I mean FOR REAL, like be honest, stop hiding BE REAL. And on that note I'm going to be. I really feel that I am but after meeting with some good friends this weekend and we were able to be real with each other it encouraged me EVEN MORE(THANKS GUYS!).
Sunday morning I didn't want to be there. I was up at 5:45am, I didn't feel good and it was just one of those days. OOHHH I said it, I wasn't in the mood. But, You know what? I had to have a sit down/pow wow with just me and Jesus for a few minutes and it was great. We had already set things up, it was almost time for the experience to start and I knew something had to change about my attitude. I just took a few minutes just to talk and to listen. I just needed to quiet myself before the Lord. We need to be real with our self and Jesus. Sometimes we need a sit down/pow wow of our own. We need to be quiet and to listen. I had to say out loud, Its not about me Jesus, Its about YOU! I really said that out loud too. After it was all done to see and hear about the Life Change that happened yesterrday was amazing. People giving their hearts to Jesus and people coming to get prayer about the masks they have been putting up made for and awesome day. The point of all this... Its not about me, its not about you, its all about Jesus. Lets remember that. If your in ministry( if you say your a christian your in ministry) and your not in the mood, its not about you. Lets take down the masks and get real.

Yesterday concluded our series on Planted and it was an extremely great message by Pastor Judah Smith. If you haven't had the chance to watch it you need to get online and check it out. In the meantime? That is what we were learning about, that we are not where we were but were not where we are supposed to be. The Meantime! I talked a little about how we in that time of in between we really need to be planted. We need to take that time to go after God even more. I heard it said that if your not moving forward that you are going backwards. We may feel like were stuck but we must press on.
I also shared about the trees roots and how it grows. Did you know that the roots grow up to 3x bigger than the branch spread?
Or that when one side of he roots get injured the branches and leaves on that side will die or wilt? We have to planted in good soil. Our roots are what hold us in the ground and feed us(Also a tree)!
If you feel like your in the meantime don't give up. Keep moving forward. Press on!
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up! Galatians 6:9

So we have been getting our new offices ready and I have to say that they are looking awesome. Special thanks and shout out to those who have been there working like crazy. I know we are all excited about getting to move there. We are going to be on Main St above Wachovia. It is going to give us so much room and allow us places for meeting and LifeGroups and things like that! Come by and check things out or just to say hello! This Sunday is going to be great so you wont want to miss out. The music is going to be different too so come and join us. 10am at the Smoky Mtn Center for The Performing Arts!

Yesterday was such an awesome end to the series I Believe In You! Dr. Chand did such a great job. I really feel that this has been such an important series for all of us. How good do you feel when someone says that they believe in you? You feel awesome! It makes you feel like what you are doing has value! I wanted to say a special thank you to the worship and tech team. This group of men and women are there setting up before most of you are even awake on Sunday. I appreciate the time that they put into it every week. You and I are blessed to have them here! Really, we have so many volunteers that are serving in so many areas and it is such an honor to serve with you. You all have a part in what God is doing at Life Church and here in Franklin. Lets keep dreaming big for our church. Lets keep praying for our leaders and expecting to see things happen! We are just scratching the surface here at Life Church. We are going to continue to see lives changed, we are going to continue to see growth that we really cant explain and keep dreaming BIG!. Let us not be satisfied with where we are at. We know that God has more for us so lets continue to pursue that! You all are awesome!
